Vanessa Hock joined Balmori Associates in 2018. She studied at The Fashion Institute of Technology and received degrees in Photography, Advertising and Marketing Communications. She has backgrounds in photography, graphic design, production, and archiving. 

In 2015, she moved to Southeast Asia as both a teacher and photojournalist, documenting the culture and lifestyles of the continent. Her passion in historical preservation stems from her travels, where she observed, and shared in, the peoples love and respect for the natural world around us.

Working with both digital and analog materials, she assists in preserving the firm's archive. She is passionate about studying landscape architecture through photographs, design, literature, art, and design.
